On Wednesday 31st July, Neil Carmichael set off to China on a week long visit to our partners in Shanghai and Beijing.
The first stop was Shanghai, where Neil visited Childbase-Zhixu Kindergarten to exchange ideas and views with parents and teachers. Here, Neil was joined by the education experts teams from UCL Institute of Education and East China Normal University, who shared their experience and research of early years education. There was rich interaction between parents and experts, and in the afternoon free interaction flowed with tea and refreshments.
