Monique has been with UCEC since the very beginning of its establishment. As our Project Manager and the Head of Research Coordination, she oversees the joint research projects of universities in China and the UK the Company is funding, making sure every research project is properly resourced. She is also working with various publishers and university presses, feeding the early years education sector in China with the best reading materials and publications from the UK.
Monique specialises in language. She holds a master’s degree of Translation and Interpreting from the University of Westminster. She has been using her language combination volunteering for several charities such as Medical Justice, helping vulnerable groups by facilitating communication.
Born and raised in China, her experience studying and living in the UK makes her realise the great difference of education in the two countries and the importance of exchanges and communications, which also sits in the core of UCEC’s vision.
